All righty, well..for awhile not much interesting happened, because sometimes things just end up being what my uncle wants, and that means a lot of war museums. Now, being that we are in Japan...three quaters, if not more, of every museum is in Japanse. So..most of it is stuff that we can't even understand. The day after our third museum (which caused us to miss the Grand Autumn Festival that I had wanted to go too), we went to Tama Zoo. Tama Zoo had a lot less monkeys than Ueno, and we got to pet a Sitka Deer..mainly because it stuck it's head through the fence. I got chewed on by a baby goat, which wasn't to bad cause it didn't have any teeth. (But I do wander why all goats want to eat me), and then headed to the insect house. There was an entire butterly garden, where I got a few pictures that I have to upload when I find them again, of some awesome butterflys and a hummingbird perched. We also got to go on a lion bus, meat on all sides of the bus..did you know a lion's paw is about the side of your head?! And that is just a young female! On Halloween I went to Haunted Harajuku, which was supposed to be a Harajuku (Japanese alley where they sell cosplay clothing) themed party..but most people didn't get it>< I also got to meet a lovely band called Bespa Kumamero, which is Elctro/Techno/Industrial. They are such lovely people, very sweet and thankfull for everything! Azumi, the singer, actually seemed surprised when my aunt wanted to buy both CDs from them. I've got a couple pictures of us together to upload later. On Nov 1st, after getting in at nearly midnight, my uncle got us both up for a tour of Shiraito No Taki waterfall and the 5th station on Mt. Fuji. Shiraito was beautiful, our tour guide who has been going there for..err, let's just say many years, has never seen a rainbow there..until the day we all went. I all ready have some of those up and available for purchase. We then headed up to Fuji View Hotel for a lunch buffet..I maily ate pumpkin cake cause most everything had seafood or some other meat, and from there it was up to the 5th station. It was practicly freezing the moment we got off the nice warm bus, the thermometers inside the stores all said like 15 degrees! Boy was I stupid to wear just a long skirt and leggins with a long shirt and a Florida appropriate coat! The wind chill made it even worse, it was strong enough to actually blow -me- into other people and lift one little girl off the ground by her umbrella! Needless to say, all of us wanted back on the bus after an hour of freezing our fingers and noses off><; My lips are still chapped.
